TVs have been getting bigger and better nearly as quick as our smartphones have, however could this be the best TV money can buy at the moment?
LG have been consistently working and improving the televisual technology and after the release of their “Picture on Glass” TVs have now produced the W7, better known as the “Wallpaper TV”. This TV measures just under 3mm and when attached to its magnetised wall-panel will protrude just 4mm from your wall – which is thinner than the width of your phone.
The screen comes in 2 sizes, 65 and 77 inch and is connected to the Soundbar via a small ribbon cable that powers the OLED screen. OLED TVs have no backlight, instead the pixels are self-lighting which create more depth to colours which means deeper blacks and more vibrant colours. Everything that makes this TV function has been put into an incredibly crafted LG Soundbar that uses Dolby Atmos technology that produces exquisite sound quality.
This is the thinnest TV ever created (so far) and will soon be available for consumer purchase, however it is the first of its kind and considering the speed at which technology is improving, paper-thin TVs will soon be available industry wide from most industry leaders, so what can we expect to come in the future!
